Interaktive Installation von Christian Fries und Kristina Tschesch Gruppenausstellung UN/ENDLICH UND ACHT
Rechenzentrum, Potsdam


Eine symbolische Gesellschaftsaufstellung® Beteiligter in der Debatte um den Erhalt des ehemaligen Datenverarbeitungszentrums, dem heutigen Rechenzentrum und den Wiederaufbau des barocken Turmes der ehemaligen Garnisonkirche.  The Endless Race thematisiert den Wettbewerb um die Deutungshoheit in Sachen Zukunft, Vergangenheit, Partizipation und Stadtentwicklung. Das Hier und Jetzt im Hier und Jetzt. Potsdam, Breite Straße, Ecke Dortustraße.
Und wie in echt: Die Leute dürfen mitmachen: z.B. still beobachten, Schleifen drehen oder selbst Position beziehen (und die Installation mit mitgebrachten Figuren erweitern).









The interactive installation The Endless Race refers to the never-ending competition in determining the direction of urban development, architecture and public space in Potsdam. The work focusses specifically on the debate around the preservation of the former data center and today’s creative space Rechenzentrum and the reconstruction of the baroque tower of the former Garnisonkirche. Visitors are invited to take part in the race and also to position themselves by extending one of the fan blocks with own little characters they brought along.
